Local JDF Chapters | |
Each JDF chapter serves as a central resource for information about the local diabetes community and about the progress JDF and others have made in the search for a cure. Under the direction of volunteer Boards of Directors and the combined efforts of professional staff and many volunteers, the chapters provide education to the public, outreach programs to those living with diabetes, and regional support for government advocacy programs on behalf of diabetes research. JDF chapters also coordinate and implement the Foundation’s fundraising programs that support research throughout the world.
Volunteers are key to the success of each JDF chapter. They participate in many different roles such as: Board members, program and event chairs, committee members, public speakers and government advocates. For detailed information about volunteering in your area, please refer to the list below and call the chapter nearest you. Membership inquiries are also welcome.
